Miscellaneous Preservation

Carmine Carapella has more than 20 years of professional and academic Experience in the field of Historic preservation. His passion for architecture hearkens back to his childhood in Rome, where, at an early age, he became interested in the challenge of historic preservation in urban environments as he sketched and studied the monuments of the city. As a student at Rome’s La Sapienza School of Architecture, he focused on historical preservation and architectural history. Following graduation, he worked in Rome for several years assisting in the preservation of several of the city’s iconic monuments like Palazzo Barberini and S. Giorgio al Velabro.
