The congregation of St. Pius X in Rochester, NY were in need of a new parish house after a devastating fire in early 2015. This design was intended to improve upon the original church, with more space and a classic sense of verticality which the previous building lacked. The church is designed with a central Greek cross plan with additional rooms branching off from the sides. The exterior is a mix of stucco with cast stone accents. The focus of the scheme was to create an awe-inspiring, quality structure whilst keeping cost to a minimum.
